Here are all the focus points listed for the Tools Section.  They should provide you a way for quick review.

  1. The Spirit of God (Humility)
    1. Truth is what conforms to reality
    2. Try and be humble in your dialog.
    3. Admit your mistakes.
    4. Pride and humility both hide themselves in the person so that the person does not see he has them, but others do.
  2. Logic Comes from God
    1. Logic ultimately comes from God
    2. Logic is a conceptual action based upon transcendent absolutes.
    3. Logic is a reflection of God's perfect thinking and absolute nature.
    4. Logic helps expose error and establish truth.
  3. Information comes from God
    1. Information is knowledge derived through experience, learning, instruction, etc.  It is a collection of facts and truth.
    2. As you learn in both areas, logic and knowledge, each will feed off the other.
    3. You cannot think critically without information and you cannot use information properly if you cannot think critically.
  4. Knowing what you believe
    1. The foundation of proper thinking is truth.
    2. You need to know your basic Christian theology because that is the foundation of truth on which all critical thinking should be based.
