Adaptation

Adaptation

Adaptation, according to evolutionary theory, is the process a species undergoes overtime where it becomes better suited to survive in an environment. When an environment changes (geologically, temperature, predatory, food sources, etc.,), those organisms that are better suited for survival will pass their genetic information to their descendants, while those less suited will tend to not.
