Volcano

Volcano

A volcano is a vent in the earth’s crust where molten rock, steam, and rock escape. They are usually quite large and erupt suddenly as the pressure within the earth overcomes the rock holding it back. A result is an explosive event that spews material into the atmosphere for many miles. It can bring pyroclastic flows and level large areas with the blast that occurs at its initial release.
