Introduction to evidence and answers
Without a doubt,
Christianity is under attack. It has always been under attack ever
since its inception when unbelievers killed Jesus and persecuted the
church. In fact, the truth of God has been under attack since the
creation of the world when the evil one entered the Garden of Eden and
contradicted God's word bringing death. From then to now, God's word has
been under constant attack and Christians have been killed all over
the world. In the 20th century alone, more Christians were killed
for their faith than in all other centuries combined. In the Sudan,
three million Christians have been killed in the past 30 or so years
at the hands of Islam. Many Muslim run countries are persecuting
Christians heavily by killing them if they do not convert to Islam. The United States is moving closer and closer to
removing Christian influence from society altogether. It has been
attacking Christianity in its media for years portraying Christianity
in a negative light at almost every opportunity. The Ten Commandments are
being removed from
courts. Laws are being passed to prevent Christian activities in
public events. Even the word "Christmas" is being replaced by
"Seasons Greetings." In Canada, legislation has been
considered that would make the Bible qualify as hate literature because
of its condemnation of homosexuality. This could result in the
police arresting pastors for simply preaching God's word. Is the
United States far behind? Is more serious oppression soon to
follow? The momentum against Christianity is gaining speed.
