J - Dictionary of Philosophy

jPhilosophy is the study of the nature of knowledge that seeks to gain understanding about reality, truth, and values. It is worth studying (Acts 17:18, Titus 1:12) as long as it is not vain philosophy (Col. 2:8) that contradicts God's Word. With it, we can better obey (1 Pet. 3:15).
