These sermons are a few of the
ones I've written over the years preaching as a pastor and as pulpit supply.
You will not see a consecutive set of the
expositional sermons going through a book due mainly to my
years of pulpit supply. Rather, you will
see various topics. Also, I have experimented with
different methods of arranging sermons, some are in outline form
(more exegetical) and others in block form (more
expositional). Each has advantages and
disadvantages.
I do not claim to be a great preacher, but I
hope that these sermons may help other preachers during those
periods when time is short and spiritual energy is low. Please
feel free to print the outlines, modify them, and use them.
If you are not a preacher, reading
through some of these outlines may or may not be beneficial. They
are, after all, only outlines and as such are intended as aides
in keeping the preachers thoughts coherent and on topic. They also serve as
a reminder and stimulus for other thoughts that, Lord willing,
the Holy Spirit would anoint during the preaching of God's word.
I consider myself very privileged to be
able to stand in the pulpit and address God's people out of His
word. It is both intimidating as a responsibility and
exhilarating as a calling. By His Grace He has blessed the words
preached and people have grown in Christ.
One last note: I used a conversion
program to move these from WordPerfect into HTML. I tried
to catch the flaws in the conversion. If you see any,
please forgive me my oversight.
To His glory....
