Anti-Proton

Anti-Proton

An anti-proton is the antimatter equivalent of the proton. Therefore, the anti-proton would have a negative charge where the proton has a positive charge, but it would otherwise have the same mass as a proton and the same position and role in the atom. Whereas a proton is orbited by a negatively charged electron, an anti-proton is orbited by a positively charged positron.
