Chakra are energy locations believed to exist in people.  Chakras are supposedly manipulated through energy transference exercises in an effort to balance the human body and make it more healthy.  There are seven major chakras.  Hinduism, Buddhism, and the New Age Movement teach the existence of and manipulation of chakras.
